We’ve introduced a smarter way to manage how your internal domain renews giving you full control over whether to automate renewals or handle them manually.
How to Access
You can update renewal settings by:
- Navigating to Account settings → Domains
- Selecting your internal domain
- Clicking Additional Settings
- Opening the Domain Renewal section
- From there, you can toggle Auto-Renew ON/OFF and check your domain’s renewal status.
How It Works
- Auto-Renew Made Simple: Turn auto-renew ON or OFF anytime before your renewal date.
- Manual Renewal Option: If auto-renew is OFF or a renewal attempt fails, you can renew manually.
- Automatic Retry: If auto-renew fails due to payment issues, we’ll retry up to two more times automatically.
- Clear Status & Alerts: You’ll see alerts if a renewal fails, with clear next steps.
Why It Matters
- Stay in Control – Decide how your domain renews.
- Never Miss a Renewal – Smart retries + manual backup keep you covered.
- No Surprises – Renewal prices are always displayed before charging.
Important Notes
- You can switch between auto-renew and manual renewal before the renewal date.
- If multiple auto-renew attempts fail, you’ll be notified and can renew manually until the domain expires.
- Some domain extensions may renew for more than one year, pricing is always shown upfront.
