What’s New?
We’ve made it easier to create a store directly from the Website Builder! :tada:
With this update, users can now add store elements (like Product Lists, Featured Products, or Pre-Built Store Sections) directly to any page—even if a store hasn’t been activated yet. When a store element or Pre-built section is dropped onto a page, the platform will automatically:
- Create a Store (if one doesn’t exist)
- Generate the required store pages
- Replicate the existing website theme (header, footer, fonts, and color scheme) for seamless brand consistency based on what you select.
How to Use It?
- Open the Website Builder, click on Add element and drag a Store Element(e.g., Cart, Collections List, Featured Products) orPre-Built Store Sectionsonto any page.
- On first use, you’ll see a popup asking whether you’d like to import design settings(fonts, colors, background, etc.) from your current page.
- Once confirmed, your store is automatically createdand linked to the website, along with all the necessary store pages.
- Continue customizing design of your store flow as usual.
Key Points to Note:
- If a user adds multiple store elements to one page before store creation, the first element triggers store creation. All subsequent elements addition are treated as normal components.
- Deleting any store page manually will automatically delete all store pages.
- Selecting Skip in the import modal will skip applying the current page’s theme and still trigger store creation. Add Store will import all the applied theme settings from the current page into all store pages.
- Imported sections will appear below the store elements.
